Altaf Hussain talks to Core-Commander Karachi

MQM Chief discussed all the related details with city’s Core-Commander and told him about the current situation and MQM’s grievances regarding operation plan. The Core-Commander ensured him that every possible step would be taken to make Karachi-operation neutral.
Lt-Gen Sajjad Gani also formed a six-member committee, including three members from law enforcement agencies and three members of MQM to review MQM’s grievances. He said the committee would probe all the complaints and would take action against the culprits.
Earlier, MQM Chief Altaf Hussain had decided to write an open letter to Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif regarding Karachi-operation. But after having an effective talk to Core-Commander Karachi, he decided to postpone writing letter to COAS General Raheel Sharif.
