Rabita Committee expresses concern over Emirates decision to suspend flights to Pakistan after firing incident

Emirates airline’s decision to suspend flights had hurt country’s image internationally.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Rabita Committee has expressed concern over Emirates decision to suspend flights for Peshawar after firing incident at its plane by terrorists.
 In a statement, Rabita Committee demanded that the foolproof security should be provided to airports across the country for the protection of national and international flights.
Rabita Committee deplored that Emirates airline’s decision to suspend flights had hurt country’s image internationally and its decision would deprive us of foreign exchange too.
Rabita Committee said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and federal governments should have enhanced security at the airports and installation considering the army operation in North Waziristan and the terrorist attack on Karachi Airport.
They demanded that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and federal governments should stop playing politics.
“Considering the challenges faced by the country they should enhance security at the airports to tackle any untoward incident, “ Rabita Committee said.
Rabita Committee demanded that the president, prime minister and federal interior minister should order to enhance security at the airports across Pakistan, including Peshawar airport.
