People have to fight against corrupt system: Altaf Hussain

MQM Chief Altaf Hussain has said escaping from the problems will never provide any solution of them, rather compels one to surrender against it.
Altaf Hussain said to eliminate feudal and barbaric system from the country for that people had to be practical. He said the nation needed unity to fight against the feudal mentality which also produced terrorism and extremism.
In an interview at a private TV channel, he firmly condemned assassination attack on MQM MNA Tahira Asif in Lahore. He termed the attack was the continuation of ongoing terrorism in the country, which casted Pakistan thousands of innocent lives, including children, women and elders.
He said terrorists targeted some specific areas, like Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta and Fata. He said various terrorists’ outfits working on their devil designs and killing people to destabilize the country. He said the extremist elements equipped with weapons and economically sound to continue their operations.
Detailing about the assassination attack on MQM MNA Tahira Asif, he said nearly 1415 PST, she drove out from her Iqbal Town residence for Islamabad and when she reached at Lahore-Islamabad Motorway, the terrorists riding on a motorbike stopped her vehicle and demanded her identity. After knowing about her they threatened to kill her for being outspoken, he added. She replied God has more power than the killers and after hearing the notion, the terrorists started firing on her, he said.
MQM Chief ranked Tahira Asif as a brave activist for his party and the nation. He said she had been doing for the welfare of the people regardless their ethnic or communal attachments. He said there were three MQM parliamentarians, who were murdered in targeted killings and their murderers had never been apprehended.
He said MQM kept requesting to the concerned authorities to provide foolproof security to the parliamentarians and people who had been in severe threats. He thanked to surgeons, doctors, paramedical and other staff for taking care of Tahira Asif. He said people should pray Almighty Allah to bestow her early recovery and complete health.
