Pakistan, terrorism have nothing parallel: Altaf Hussain

MQM Chief Altaf Hussain categorically denounced the talks with Taliban terrorists and said Pakistan and terrorism would never go parallel.
Speaking at the public gatherings of various cities in Europe and Britain on the occasion of 36th anniversary of APMSO, Mr Altaf Hussain condemned the terrorism all around and the country had already become the slaughterhouse of the humanity. He stressed expatriates and foreign residents Pakistanis should come to protect and support the nation in the time of crisis.
He congratulated all the participants of the gatherings on the occasion of 36th anniversary of APMSO. He reasserted the student organisation which was founded in the University of Karachi, had become the only political party representing 98 percent of the unprivileged class.
 
MQM Chief advised the students and youth to concentrate in their studies and must respect their teachers and elders. He said without surrendering themselves they could not be able to get any proper knowledge or education. He also said Allah blesses those who respect their teachers and elders.
 
Altaf Hussain also indicated the audiences belonged to the various ethnic communities, showed MQM was not only the representative of Urdu-speaking community. He said people from the entire country now joined MQM and Altaf Hussain’s philosophy to serve their respective communities.
 
He recounted the 1992-operation in which more fifteen thousand MQM activists were extra-judicially murdered, including his elder brother Nasir Hussain and his nephew Arif Hussain. He said he was booked in various fake cases and thrice arrested. He said during his detentions he was fatally tortured by the security agencies.
 
Altaf Hussain said discriminating forces propagated of the country conspired against MQM and Altaf Hussain to separate other ethnic communities. He appreciated his workers and supporters to be firmed in the time of crisis and negated all the malice designs plotted by the feudal mentality.
 
He also indicated that the sectarian conflicts in the country were nothing but the efforts of distributing people in community or sects. He said killings of the members of Shia community were as criminal as scandalous slurs for Sahaba Kiram (RA) by them. He stressed on the unity and solidarity for each other to fight against the terrorists and other criminal forces.
 
Altaf Hussain referred to his concerns again over the Talbanisation in the urban areas of country, especially in Karachi. He firmly condemned all the extremism and fundamentalism that caused killings of innocent civilians and soldiers. He said bombing in mosques and Imambargah was no way called Islam or Sharia.
 
Members MQM Coordination Committee, including Deputy Convener Nudeem Nusrat, Tariq Javed, Muhammad Anwar, Mustafa Azizabadi, Qasim Ali Raza, Deputy Parliamentary Leader Sindh Khawaja Izharul Hassan, MQM UK organiser Dr Saleem Danish, Suhail Khanzada and Hiba Danish also addressed to the audiences.
