The gruesome bloodshed in Hazar Ganji is a wanton act of slaying the humanity itself
Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has deplored the savage killings of the people belonging to the Hazara community living in the Hazar Ganji area of Quetta. He has termed the gruesome bloodshed a wanton act of slaying the humanity itself.

Mr Hussain said that the innocent people belonging to the Hazara community in Baluchistan were being subjected to genocide, and they were being killed after being taken out from buses just because they were followers of the Shiite school of thought.
I and other leaders and religious scholars believing in sectarian harmony and unity among Muslims had called for stopping these acts of savagery, which could not be done. Seven more innocent people were gunned down in Quetta after their identities were verified.

Mr Hussain said that every peace-loving citizen of Pakistan besides the members of the Hazara community wanted to as to where the government, law-enforcing agencies were while the genocide and bloodshed continued unstoppably. They were asking as to why the elements spilling the blood of innocent people were not being arrested.

Mr Hussain said that he would appeal to the federal and provincial government and heads of defence institutions in the name of Allah and the Prophet (PBUH) to stop killings of the innocent people and provide protection to the people of the Hazara community lest the slaughter of a particular community may take a turn for the worse.

Mr Hussain extended heartfelt sympathies to the grieving families who lost their loved-ones and expressed unity and solidarity with them. He prayed Almighty Allah to shower His blessings upon the deceased people and give courage and patience to their families.
