Take measures to stop arson attacks in future.
MQM’s Senator Nasreen Jalil has expressed sorrow over the arson attacks on gurdwaras in interior of Sindh. She expressed this view while talking to Sardar Ramesh Singh Caretaker Pakistan Sikh Council at the arson attack on Gurdwara in District Shikarpur.
Senator Nasir Jalil said that MQM expressed condemnation of arson attacks on places of worship of Sikhs and burning of their religious books. She added that MQM expressed sympathies with the Sikh Community.
“Islam is the religion of peace and it teaches its followers to respect other religions. Islam is against extremism. MQM’s leader Mr. Hussain has always preached people to respect one another and minorities in Pakistan, “ Senator Jalil said.
Sardar Ramesh thanked Mr. Hussain and MQM for their support to the community. He assured MQM of the community’s cooperation.
Senator Nasreen Jalil demanded that the federal and Sindh governments should take notice of the arson attacks and burning of religious books of Sikh community and arrest the extremists responsible for the brutal act in Shikarpur and take measures to stop this kind of attacks in future. She also demanded to provide protection to minorities in Pakistan.
