Founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), Mr Altaf Hussain has expressed profound grief and sorrow on the martyrdom of Muhammad Rafique who was a member of the sector committee of the Baldia Town Sector. Rafique was attacked by unknown terrorists the previous night. Joint Sector In-charge Muhammad Arshad Qureshi had also sustained bullet injuries in the incident. Rafique succumbed to the injuries in the hospital while Arshad Qureshi is still under treatment in Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Mr Hussain lauded the services of Rafique and said that the selfless sacrifices made by the deceased worker would bear fruit. He condoled with the grief-stricken family members and said that their grief was equally felt by him and each worker of the MQM. He prayed Allah to shower his blessings on the soul of Rafique and give courage and patience to the family members to bear the irreparable loss. He also prayed for the well-being of the injured Arshad Qureshi.
