Amnesty’s Report on MQM is unfounded, baseless and fabricated: Haq Parast Parliamentarians

Amnesty International never condemned the extrajudicial murders of MQM workers and enforced disappearances.
MQM’s members of National and Provincial assemblies have strongly condemned Amnesty International’s report. They have termed the report on MQM unfounded, baseless and fabricated.
In a joint statement they said that the report was an attempt to discredit and malign MQM. They added the report had hurt the feelings of millions of MQM supporters.
The Haq Parast parliamentarians said that the Amnesty International had published malicious reports against MQM in the past too. They added that MQM had always issued explanatory statements in response to their reports, but they never published them.  
They said that Amnesty International never published any reports on the massacre of MQM supporters. They added that they did not publish any reports on the massacre of MQM workers on October 31, 1986 in Sohrab Goth and on December 14, 1986 in Qasba and Aligarh – 300 men, women and children were brutally murdered in six hours. Women and girls were raped before they were killed, including minor girls.
They deplored that Amnesty did not publish any report on the massacre in Hyderabad on December 30, 1988 when hundreds of innocent people were mercilessly murdered in half an hour. They added that thousands of MQM workers were killed during Army Operation in 1992. Amnesty International neither condemned the extrajudicial murders of MQM workers.
The parliamentarian said that hundreds of MQM workers have become victims of enforced disappearances. They added that Urdu Speaking areas were attacked. They prayed that God should enable them present oppressed as oppressor and tyrants as tyrants.
