Sacrifices of the martyrs and patience of the families of missing persons have brought fruit
Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has given heartiest congratulations to Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad on being conferred “Nishan-i-Imtiaz”, the highest civil award of Pakistan. Talking to Governor Ebad on telephone, Mr Hussain said that this was, in fact, an award to the oppressed and deprived people of the country. He said that the award was the recognition of the services of the party belonging to the oppressed and downtrodden people of the country.
Later talking to the Co-ordination Committee at Nine Zero Mr Hussain said that it was a gift to all the workers of the party in all the four provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir. He said that the sacrifices rendered by the martyrs of the party and the patience of the families of the missing persons of the MQM had brought fruit. He said that the award belonged to all those who remained steadfast in the most difficult circumstances and proved their loyalty by not bowing down despite brutal physical tortures in captivity.
Mr Hussain asked the Co-ordination Committee to convey his message of congratulations to the workers throughout the country. He asked the members of the Co-ordination Committee not to become boastful after getting any award and remain loyal to the ideology of the party.
The Co-ordination Committee also congratulated Mr Hussain on the award of Governor Ebad.
