Altaf Hussain felicitates workers on the 26th years of formal political struggle
Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has felicitated the office-bearers, workers and supporters on the beginning of the 26th year of the formal political struggle of the MQM. Talking to the members of the Co-ordination Committee in London and Pakistan Mr Hussain said that the MQM had entered into the political field by organizing a massive public meeting in Nishtar Park on 8th August 1986 in Karachi. The MQM workers showed unparalleled discipline in spite of heavy rains and demonstrated that the MQM is a highly disciplined party. The exemplary discipline of the MQM is still quoted as an example. He congratulated everyone on the 26th anniversary of the first public meeting of the MQM held on the 8th August 1986. The Co-ordination Committee also congratulated Mr Hussain and prayed for his good health and long life.
