JI Amir has insulted the Prophet’s (SAW) grandson by comparing him with Yazeed: Altaf Hussain

I want  to know the religious opinion of scholars and clerics whether Munawar Hasan could be punished for this blasphemous remark
The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has appealed to muftis, clerics and scholars of Islam to issue a fatwa against Amir Jamaat-e-Islam for saying that the tragic incident of Karbala was a battle between two companions of the Prophet (SAW). Mr. Hussain said that JI Amir has insulted the Prophet’s (SAW) grandson by comparing him with Yazeed.
He said these words while talking to Rabita Committee at Nine Zero. 
Munawar Hussain had expressed this view in a TV program. Mr. Hussain wanted to know the religious opinion of scholars and cleric whether Munawar could be punished for this blasphemous remark. 
“I am not a mufti or Islamic scholar. I have seek the religious opinion on this issue. I urge the respected clerics, muftis and scholars to take notice of Munawar Hasan’s statement and tell us whether the grandson of the Prophet (SAW) and Yazeed can be compared and ranked on the same level. It is not the question of an individual but a question from every person of Ummah, “ Mr. Hussain said.
