Our situation demands tough decisions, unity and action. If we fail to act then it would prove disastrous to us and our coming generations.
MQM’s Deputy Convener has said that ‘Solidarity Rally’ represents the unity of all Pakistanis and their unity will guarantee the bright future of Pakistan.
“Our unity will put us on the path of prosperity and will enable us to achieve our goals. Our situation demands tough decisions, unity and action. If we fail to act then it would prove disastrous to us and our coming generations. This ‘Solidarity Rally’ will prove a referendum against Taliban and their supporters, “ Dr. Khalid Maqbool said.
He has made a compassionate appeal to Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Hindus, Parsis and members of other communities to participate in the rally in large numbers and show their hate for the terrorists and support for the armed forces of Pakistan.
Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui expressed these views while addressing a hurriedly called press conference at the Khursheed Memorial Secretariat. Deputy Convener Engineer Nasir Jamal, members of Rabita Committee Senator Nasreen Jalil, Ansa Mumtaz Anwar, Amir Khan, Kanwar Khalid Younus, Kanwar Naveed Jameel, Ahmed Salim Siddiqui, Aadil Khan, Gulfaraz Khan Khattak and Yousuf Shahwani were present in the press conference with him.
“Solidarity Rally will prove very good for the security and territorial integrity of Pakistan. It will be a milestone in the history of Pakistan. I appeal to elders, young men, women, girls and kids, members of civil society, laborers and members of other walks of life to come out of their homes. It is a time for crucial decisions and actions. The religious extremism, which was allowed to go unchecked, has become a menace for us. Today terrorism has become an uncontrollable beast. It is destabilizing our country, “ Dr. Khalid Said.
“Qaid-e-Tehreek Altaf Hussain has always warned the nation about dangers and challenges faced by Pakistan. We condemn the brutal murders of FC personnel by the Taliban Terrorists. We have planned a rally in support of the armed forces of Pakistan at 3 p.m at the Shahra-e-Qaideen. This is the first step where people of Karachi will show their unity against terrorists and extremists. We will organize rallies in Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi , Quetta, Peshwar and other cities. People must come out of their homes and show their solidarity and support for the armed forces of Pakistan. They must show their hatred for the terrorists, “ Dr. Khalid Maqbol said.
Deputy Convener Dr. Khalid appealed to all communities living in Karachi to participate in the ‘Solidarity Rally’ and pay tributes to the 40 thousand citizens and 5 thousands army men who have sacrificed their lives fighting terrorists. He appealed to all political parties to participate in the army and express their views.
