MQM Peshawar stages protest demonstration for the recovery of their missing workers and over extrajudicial killings of their workers

Qaid-e-Tehreeq has always preached for peace and restraint to its workers: Aslam Afridi 
MQM Peshawar has stage a protest demonstration over the extrajudicial executions and recovery of its missing workers at the Peshawar Press Club. MQM Rabita Committee’s members Aslam Afridi, members of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Upper Punjab, Peshawar Zone’s officer bearers and members of the civil society took part in the protest demonstration.
Addressing the participants of the protest demonstration Aslam Afridi said, “ MQM is a peaceful and democratic party. Qaid-e-Tehreeq has always preached for peace and restraint to its workers.”
“The country is passing through a crucial time. It faces many internal and external challenges. Terrorist beasts are slaughtering our security forces personnel and people. They are attacking our defense installations. They are carrying out subversive activities in Karachi. They have committed terrorist acts in Karachi and accepted its responsibility. Gangters of Lyari are committing crimes, murders and extortions under official patronage. Targeted operation launched for the elimination of criminals and terrorists in Karachi has been diverted to MQM. More than 10 MQM workers have been killed extra judicially and 45 workers have become victims of enforced disappearances. Despite all repression MQM has not responded to provocation and remained peaceful, “ Aslam Afridi said.
Aslam Afridi has made a demand to the President, Prime Minister and Federal Interior Minister to investigation into these incidents and cases enforced disappearances and effective measures should be taken for the recovery of 45 workers.
