Founder
and leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Mr. Altaf Hussain has extended his
heartfelt gratitude to people of Pakistan, MQM office bearers, members and
supporters for holding massive peaceful gatherings in different parts of the
world to show solidarity with him.
In a
press statement, Mr Hussain said that he is thankful to Almighty God and
greatly appreciates party workers and supporters for firmly expressing their
displeasure and concerns over negative propaganda against the MQM and him.
Mr
Hussain added that it was a pleasure for him to learn that people from all
ethnic groups, religious sects and religions overwhelmingly participated in
rallies that were held across Pakistan to express solidarity with him. He said
that he was praying to Almighty Allah to bless all those people who showed
sincere solidarity with him and prayed for their health and wellbeing.
He
appealed to the party members and supporters to pray before Allah Almighty to
grant him more strength to be firm in his struggle for the righteous cause.
