Altaf Hussain condemns the murder of Mufti Usman Yar Khan

Despite claims about targeted operation by the Sindh Government, incidents of terrorism are occurring on daily basis

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the murder of JUI (S) leader Mufti Usman Yar Khan along with his two colleagues. He said that the Sindh Government was making claims about the targeted operation in Karachi but incidents of terrorism were occurring in the city on almost daily basis and people were being killed in broad daylight.

Mr Hussain said that even police personnel were not safe and their vehicles and check posts were being attacked resulting in the martyrdom of several personnel. He said it was unfortunate that the government was not taking any serious action.

Mr Hussain demanded arrests of the killers of Mufti Usman Yar Khan and his colleagues and expressed sympathies to the workers and office-bearers of JUI (S). He prayed Almighty Allah to give courage and patience to the grieving family members.
