Altaf Hussain pays glowing tributes to Nelson Mandela

Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain said here on Friday that with the passing away of Nelson Mandela not only the South Africa but the entire world has been deprived of a great leader.
Expressing his deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of African National Congress’ (ANC) founder and a former president of South Africa, the MQM chief in a condolence statement issued on Friday said that the news of Mandela’s death was not less than a tragedy and he equally shared the grief with his followers around the globe and the people of South Africa.
Paying glowing tributes to the ANC leader for his long fight against apartheid and for getting restored rights to black Africans, Mr Hussain said that the great leader who despite undergoing hardships during his 27-year-long struggle and imprisonment remained steadfast in his mission and motive till he succeeded in bringing an end to apartheid and in getting restored basic rights to the black Africans.
He said that Mandela’s just struggle for the rights of black Africans was a beacon of light for all those who are struggling against all sorts of discrimination.
