In the story of humanity, the idea of a master and a slave is very old. Since the beginning of time, this idea has been around. It still exists in both symbolic and real ways today, but it has taken on a different shape in the present day. Nowadays, there are many independent and democratic countries around the globe, but still, no nation, aside from the USA, has the bravery to place tariffs on countries like China, Russia, Britain, and other European states. After the fall of the Soviet Union, USA became the only superpower, with no other strong nation to challenge it.
With the backing of US, Israel has carried out bombings across all of #Palestine, including Gaza,since the year 2023. #Gaza has suffered greatly, and the bombing in #Lebanon is still happening today. When strikes were made against #Iran, did any nations, such as China and Russia, manage to intervene? One European nation, Spain, openly disagreed with the attacks on Iran and US actions. As a result, USA placed sanctions on Spain and pushed it to the side. This shows that USA is still the only superpower in the world. While most democratic nations might appear to be free and self-governing within their borders, they are not truly independent in their decision-making on a global scale. Every country is, in some way, under the thumb of America or influenced by it.
Slave states, in order to please their masters, impose dictatorship within their own countries and adopt the same behavior that superpowers use toward every subordinate or influenced country. Pakistan has also repeatedly experienced dictatorship. The founder of Pakistan, Mohd Ali Jinnah, was against dictatorship and wanted democracy in the country; that is why he was assassinated. International powers were behind in his killing.
Even today, #Pakistan remains under severe dictatorship. In this context, can the general elections held in Pakistan on February 8, 2024, truly be called free and fair? Did the country’s highest court not take away the “bat” election symbol from Imran Khan’s party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)? Were the Western countries that preach democracy unaware that PTI’s election symbol was taken away through unconstitutional and illegal means? PTI candidates were assigned different election symbols so they could not effectively secure public votes. Did the monitoring teams consisting of observers from various countries declare the election fake and the results rigged? By failing to do so, did they not deny democratic values?

Did the democratic countries of the world raise any effective voice for their release? Did democratic nations issue any united statement demanding Imran Khan’s release or insisting that his cases be heard in free and independent courts? My question is this: if the countries of the world took no action, did the leaders and workers of #PTI themselves organize any powerful protests, rallies, or sit-ins that could force the government to release Imran Khan and his associates ?
