The FIRs Filed Against MQM Workers in Hyderabad Are a Bundle of Lies, Utterly Ridiculous: Convenor Mustafa Azizabadi

These FIRs have been drafted by the Bahadurabad faction of traitors. A few days ago, the same notorious group had circulated a fake FIR on social media.

The hoisting of banners in support of the MQM's founder and leader, Altaf Hussain, in Hyderabad has panicked these traitors of the nation. They are facilitating raids.

Pressure is being exerted on workers to abandon Altaf Hussain and join the ranks of the traitors.

The raids and arrests of workers at their homes must be stopped immediately.

Army Chief General Asim Munir should consider Altaf Hussain's offer to save Pakistan from the Zardari-Sharif mafia.

The day is not far when the people will bring these traitors to justice.

Deputy Convener Qasim Ali Raza, Advisor Dr Nadeem Ehsan, and members Mehfuz Haidari, Ali Tarawash, and Atif Shamim also addressed.

LONDON. [UK]. February 4:

The Central Coordination Committee of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has demanded an immediate end to raids and arrests of MQM workers in Hyderabad. The FIRs filed against the workers are utterly ridiculous. This demand was made during a video briefing today, addressed by Convener Mustafa Azizabadi, Deputy Convener Qasim Ali Raza, former Convener and Senior Advisor Dr Nadeem Ehsan, and members Mahfuz Haidari, Ali Tarawash, and Atif Shamim.

Azizabadi strongly condemned the raids and arrests at the homes of workers in Hyderabad.

He stated that recently, when banners and posters in support of Altaf Hussain were displayed in various areas of Karachi, the Bahadurabad faction, in collaboration with the police and state agencies, removed these banners, posters, and pans flexes and facilitated the arrests of workers through informants.

Similarly, when young Muhajirs in Hyderabad displayed Panna flexes with Altaf Hussain’s image at the gates of Pakka Qila, it caused panic among the traitors. At their request, unjustified raids were conducted on MQM workers’ homes in Hyderabad. Their families were subjected to humiliating treatment and summoned to police stations to be harassed.

Azizabadi revealed that Sector-E worker Laraib was detained by plainclothed personnel from the Pakka Qila area on Saturday.

A raid was also conducted at the home of Sector-B worker Arsalan during his mother’s funeral preparations, where the family was harassed.

Furthermore, raids were carried out at the homes of loyal workers and election candidates, including Majeed Rajput, Yasir Rajput, Imtiaz Ali, Zohaib Nabi, Hamza Sheikh, Rizwan Sheikh, Haris Jafri, Nadeem Rajput, Muhammad Wasim, Muslim Gaddi from Sector F, Iqbal Arain, Naeem Arain, Israr Sheikh, Akbar Sheikh, Arif Odain, and Abdul Qayyum alias Idrees.

A raid was also conducted at the home of the late former mayor of Hyderabad, Rasheed Bhai.

Azizabadi vehemently condemned these raids and arrests, stating that false and fabricated FIRs are being registered against loyal workers at the behest of traitors.

He referred to the FIR filed on February 2 against nearly 50 loyal workers as a bundle of lies and a ridiculous drama.

The FIR falsely claimed that MQM workers gathered at Qila Ground, chanted slogans against the state, and attacked a police mobile with sticks.

He pointed out that a similar fake FIR was circulated on social media a few days ago by the Bahadurabad faction of traitors, featuring the same names, proving it was fabricated by them.

Azizabadi emphasised that Hyderabad has always been a city of Altaf Hussain’s supporters.

Despite state oppression, the people of Hyderabad continue to display banners and Panna flexes in his support, causing panic among traitors and enemies of the movement who are conducting raids based on informants’ reports.

He declared that no matter how many raids are conducted, the brave people of Hyderabad will not be subdued and will not bow down to oppression.

He demanded an immediate end to these raids and arrests.

Azizabadi also appealed to Army Chief General Asim Munir to consider Altaf Hussain’s offer to help free Pakistan from the Zardari-Sharif mafia, as the country cannot progress and prosper without getting rid of this mafia.

Deputy Convener Raza, Dr Ehsan, Haidari, Ali Tarawash, and Atif Shamim also condemned the treacherous actions of the Bahadurabad faction.

They criticised individuals who betrayed their movement and nation, now engaging in the despicable act of informing on their own people, leading to arrests.

Families of workers are being pressured to abandon Altaf Hussain and join the ranks of traitors, with threats of continued harassment if they refuse.

They concluded by saying that the people are witnessing all these actions closely, and the day is not far when the public will hold these traitors accountable in the court of law.
