In London, a legal battle unfolded involving the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) and the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Altaf Hussain, the unwavering founder and leader of MQM, exposed the truth: the property case was not merely a legal matter but was an elaborate ISI project. Every financial thread led back to the intelligence agency. Shahzad Akbar, an advisor to Prime Minister Imran Khan, corroborated this revelation.
The property case involved covert operations carried out by some conscience-troubled individuals within MQM. They were working on the 'Minus Altaf Formula' for years.
During a press conference in London on July 19, 2024, Altaf Hussain, the leader of MQM, disclosed these revelations.
He emphasised that the property case was an ISI project against MQM. All the expenses related to the case were funded by ISI. Shahzad Akbar's statement further corroborated this information.
Mr Hussain also highlighted that some senior MQM members had been conspiring against him since 2014. They had compromised their conscience for personal gain. Additionally, secret meetings took place in London with ISI officers, facilitating the 'Minus Altaf Formula.'
These revelations were made during an important press conference at the MQM International Secretariat in London on July 18.
He also referred to a tweet by Shahzad Akbar, the then special assistant to the ousted Prime Minister Imran Khan on accountability.
He urged investigative journalism to uncover the legal expenses associated with the case. Who funded it? Was it MQM-P or secret funds from ISI? It's time to dig deeper into this matter."
Hussain in his press conference shed light on the intricate details of the property case, revealing its true nature and the involvement of various parties. The case, initially presented as a legal matter, turned out to be an intelligence operation orchestrated by ISI against MQM. The 'Minus Altaf Formula' played a significant role in this complex situation.
Mr Hussain said that this lawyer is none other than Barrister Farough Naseem, whom he made a senator but he sold his conscience and facilitated the ISI in the heinous plan to break the MQM.
He changed the constitution of MQM after August 22, 2016 and also facilitated ISI in the property case against MQM in London, he claimed.
He said that the ISI had been working on the plan to break MQM for many years and was buying the conscience of senior people of MQM for this.
He said that according to his information, in 2014, M. Anwar, Raza Haroon and Anis Advocate held meetings with ISI officers in a flat located on Edgware Road in London. A journalist also used to participate in these meetings. A well-known Pakistani journalist is also a witness to these meetings.
He said that he also has information about which ISI officers from Pakistan participated in these meetings, who was sitting with whom and what conspiracies were being planned against me in these meetings.
He further revealed that he also has photographic evidence of this.
