ARMS LICENSES BE ISSUED TO THE CITIZENS OF KARACHI
UNDER THE INTERNATIONAL PRINCIPLE OF SELF-DEFENSE: ALTAF HUSSAIN

The MQM supremo Mr. ALTAF Hussain has requested the
federal and provincial governments to take serious notice of the increasing
thefts, robberies and the killing of more than 5 innocent people every day at
the hands of dacoits in Karachi.
He said that the only solution to prevent the
incidents of theft, robbery, and murder is to issue arms licenses to all the
citizens of Karachi, regardless of colour and language, on an urgent and
emergency basis under the internationally prevailing principle of self-defense.
Or else, on an urgent and emergency basis, the federal and provincial
governments should issue an ordinance to confiscate all types of licensed and
unlicensed weapons from everyone without any discrimination, under which a law
should be passed to give severe punishments to those who own weapons so that
innocent citizens may remain safe.
He expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the citizens
who were murdered during rampant and highly escalated crime rate in Karachi.
Those who escaped a murder lost a bike, purse, and
valuables.
He also expressed his heartfelt condolences and
sympathy to the bereaved families of those who were killed by bandits during
street crime incidents.
