 Posted on: 11/21/2013
The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has made a compassionate appeal to all religious parties and organizations which  have given a call for strike and protests demonstrations on Friday to make sure that no harm is done to places of worships, properties and lives of people belonging to any schools of thoughts.
Mr. Hussain said, “To carry out  peaceful protests is the democratic right of all political and religious parties.  He added that the country's current precarious situation demands that protests should be peaceful.  We should use prudence and wisdom in making decisions. We should demonstrate exemplary unity and foil the plot of people who want to create divisions among Muslims.”
Mr. Hussain said that the tragedy that occurred in Rawalpindi is a part of the plot to destabilize Pakistan and destroy the unity of Muslims Ummah. He added that enemies of Pakistan and Islam have been trying to kindle the fire of sectarian strife in the country. He said that scholars of all schools of thoughts, mashaiks and zakareens would have to play positive roles to foil this plot.
“We should respect each others beliefs and show unity and protect each others lives, mosques, imambargahs and properties, “ said Mr. Hussain.
Mr. Hussain said that religious parties and scholars of all schools of thoughts would have to show sagacity as Pakistan was passing through a critical time. They should fulfill their national and religious responsibilities.  He added that if they failed to do so our enemies would destabilize Pakistan and destroy the unity of the Muslim world than our new generations would not forgive us.
