A wave of shock and concern has taken place after serious alerts issued by the Meteorological Department with a forecast of torrential rains for days around #Karachi coastal belts. The premonitions of huge damages are embedded in the forecast. This is highly worriable matter as it would affect lives of the citizens and their properties. This is my sane advice to the people to take immediate precautionary measures to protect their lives and property. According to alerts by the Meteorology Department, the storm generated in the Arabian Sea is moving towards #Sindh province and Karachi at a speed of 200 km. Therefore, the people must not neglect the warnings and adopt precautionary measures forthwith. There's no substitute to human lives. Loss of property can be remedied. But if a precious life is lost, it cannot come back. So, the people living in the coastal areas of Sindh and Karachi should take their valuable belongings and move to safer places away from the danger zone to avoid any calamity from the storm and save their lives and property. The provincial Sindh government should initiate appropriate emergency measures to protect the lives and property of people living in all areas of Sindh, including Karachi, especially in the coastal areas. The provincial Sindh government should set up temporary shelters for the families who have moved from the coastal areas of Sindh to safer places.
