Altaf Hussain expresses deep sorrow and grief over the tragic incident in Rawalpindi in which seven people have died and scores of wounded

The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic incident in Rawalpindi in which seven people have died and scores of wounded.
Mr. Hussain has demand an action from the Federal and Punjab Government to control the situation and arrest the people responsible for the tragic incident. He added that they must take every possible measures to control violence.
In a statement, Mr. Hussain said that miscreants failed to do anything during Muharram because of full proof security arrangement made by the government and security forces. However, some elements in Rawalpindi have violated the sanctity of the month of Muharram by resorting to violence and firing, which should be condemned as much as possible.
Mr. Hussain has demand an investigation into the incident from Punjab Government and punish the elements responsible for the incident. He has made an appealed to Shia and Sunni communities for restraint and said they should not respond to provocations and frustrate the plans of the people who want to start a sectarian strife. He appealed to them to remain united and keep peace and sectarian harmony.
