The founder and leader of MQM has welcomed ISPR’s statement on Amir-e-Jamaat-e-Islami’s remarks. The ISPR has strongly condemned the statement and termed it irresponsible and misleading.
Munawar Hussain has pronounced Hakeem-ullah Meshud a martyr in his statement. This dreaded terrorist was responsible for the deaths of thousands of army, police and security personnel, attacked our defense installations, destroyed mosques, shrines, imambargags, churches and schools. ISPR said that Munawar Hussain has insulted army officers and soldiers by his irresponsible statement. These personnel have rendered supreme sacrifices for the nation.
Mr. Hussain said that ISPR has expressed the true feelings of 18 crore Pakistanis by issuing a condemnation of the statement. He added that their statement had given people a new hope and courage and won the hearts of 18 crores Pakistanis. Their statement has made it clear that security forces of Pakistan and other law enforcement agencies are ready to sacrifice their lives for the security and integrity of Pakistan.
Mr. Hussain has expressed his heartfelt sympathies and solidarity with the families of martyrs. He assured the armed forces of Pakistan that people of Pakistan will behind them in difficult times.
