SUPREME COURT BAR ASSOCIATION (SCBA) DELEGATION VISITS NINE ZERO
EXTENDS INVITATION TO ATTEND THE
SCBA CONFERENCE ON BALOCHISTAN ISSUE
KARACHI: 21st MAY 2012:
A delegation of the Supreme Court Bar Association led by its president Mr Yasin Azad visited MQM Head Office Nine Zero and extended invitation to send a delegation in the SCBA Conference on Balochistan situation on 26th May in Islamabad. The meeting continued in a cordial environment for over an hour. Current situation in Balochistan was particularly discussed in the meeting.
Talking to the Co-ordination Committee Mr Azad expressed grave concerns on the issue of the missing persons in the country and said that this should be resolved immediately.
Speaking about the local government system Mr Azad said that this was the only way to solve the basic problems of the people and provide them facilities of life. He added that it was because of this system that historic development works, having no parallel in the history of the country, were done in Karachi.
Mr Azad thanked the MQM and the Co-ordination Committee for giving a warm welcome to the SCBA delegation at Nine Zero. Mr Latif, member Co-ordination Committee, welcomed the delegation and said that the MQM has always raised a forceful voice on the Balochistan issue.
