Mustafa Azizabadi appointed convenor of MQM's CCC
LONDON. February 26: The supremo of the Muttahida Quami Movement, Altaf Hussain has shuffled the MQM's central coordination committee (CCC). He has approved the appointment of former central information secretary Mustafa Azizabadi as the new Convener of the CCC of the MQM.
In addition, the supremo has appointed, as well, Qasim Ali Raza as the national and international info secretary , Arshad Hussain as the deputy secretary information, Dr Nadeem Ehsan as the Adviser to the CCC, Ghufran Hameed as the assistant to the CCC and Iftikhar Hussain, Sufyan Yusuf, Shahid Mustafa, Ali Tarawish, Mehfooz Hyderi, Atif Shamim and Hassan Butt would continue to serves as CCC members.
The CCC had in this context met and discussed the changes made to the organisational setup of the movement. The CCC submitted the minutes of the meeting to the MQM supremo Altaf Hussain for final approval as the MQM supremo is the sole authority to approve any changes.
The meeting was attended by the CCC members from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa and Pakistan.
The meeting unanimously decided to appoint Mustafa Azizabadi as the convener of the CCC and Shahid Raza and Rehan Ibadat as the Deputy Conveners of the CCC.
CCC member Qasim Ali Raza was appointed as the National and International Information Secretary, while Arshad Hussain was appointed as the Deputy Secretary Information. Iftikhar Hussain, Sufyan Yusuf, Shahid Mustafa, Ali Tarawish, Mahfooz Hyderi, Atif Shamim and Hassan Butt will be members of the coordination committee. In the meeting, it was decided to appoint a senior member of Tehreek, Dr Nadeem Ehsan, as the advisor to the CCC, while Ghufran Hameed will assist the CCC in organisational matters along with IT team matters.
With the approval of the MQM supremo Altaf Hussain, the new appointees shall immediately be legal for fulfilling the assigned duties from the MQM supremo Altaf Hussain.
The MQM supremo Altaf Hussain expressed his fervent hopes that the new body of the CCC will work diligently for the collective benefits of the Muhajir nation.
The new body of the CCC assured the MQM supremo that they will perform their duties honestly and diligently and per the expectations of their leader and for the betterment of the Mohajir nation.
