Role of Pakistan's apex court judges shameful; says MQM supremo
LONDON. March 2nd, 2023
The founder and leader of the Muttahida Quami Movement Altaf Hussain has
said that what he witnessed in 75-year judicial history was shameful.
He said he witnessed in his 45-year long righteous struggle that
Pakistan's judiciary from bottom to top entertained and maintained
supra-constitution verdicts and always fostered to the idea of necessity that
only catered to the ghoulish establishment.
He said that even he wasn't spared and had frequently been a direct
victim of the bias of the judges.
As He claimed that there might be no second to him for knowing the
tricks of the judiciary of the country.
What great Urdu poet Mirza Asadullah Khan Ghalib had through his poetry
portrayed one & half century ago becomes fit to the country's judiciary
which is an integrated part of the draconian establishment, he said, adding
that the poet had portrayed a picture in his couplets that,
“ They can't deceive me with
tricks because they are children of yesterday to me."
He said that the political elites, analysts and constitutional experts
are also raising fingers on top slots in the country's judiciary in context
with their decisions dictated from other corners of the establishment. This is
quite alarming as well as devastating.
He said that the judges of the apex court of the country always served
their military masters. They have fully assisted the dictators through the idea
of necessity. This is an absolutely weird judiciary.
The judges of the apex judiciary of the country made a mockery of the
Judicial system and made the constitution a tissue paper, he remarked.
