MQM categorically denies in the strictest terms all the fabricated charges levelled against the MQM and Mr Altaf Hussain by DG ISPR.

Central Co-ordination Committee of MQM held an emergency meeting on 14th November 2020 at International Secretariat London, presided by the Convenor of MQM Mr Tariq Jawaid regarding the Press Conference of Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and DG ISPR Major General Baber Iftikhar, after the meeting a joint statement of the CCC was issued which stated :
In relation to the press conference given by the Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Director General ISPR Major General Baber Iftikhar on 14th November 2020, in which they tried to maliciously malign and mislead the international community and Pakistani nation to discredit the image of MQM and Mr Altaf Hussain.
MQM categorically denies in the strictest terms all the fabricated charges levelled against the movement and Mr Hussain in the press briefing held, MQM also categorically rejects and denies any allegations of involvement in any terrorist training camps in India, the allegation of Indian funding is denied in its strictest terms, the allegation of receiving any arms and ammunition is denied in its strictest terms.MQM led by founder and leader Mr Altaf Hussain, is Pakistan’s third largest democratic, secular political party working to provide equalities to the poor and needy people of Pakistan, since the very inception of MQM it had stood up against the status quo and was one of the only political parties who were vocal against medieval feudal system, religious fanaticism, and strongly opposed the active participation and intervention of military establishment in domestic politics.
The CCC said as a democratic political party MQM took part in all consecutive elections which were held in 1987, 1988, 1990, 1993, 1997, 2002, 2008, 2013 and 2015, and had won by landslide victories from the Urban areas of Sindh province, Pakistan.MQM throughout the elected governments remained a coalition partner of both the federal and provincial governments, MQM ministers were assigned different portfolios which included the longest lasting Governor in Sindh province from 27th December 2002 – 9th November 2016.
Pakistan’s military chief and inter-services intelligence (ISI) agencies chief had spoken on numerous occasions over the telephone with Mr Altaf Hussain and had met the founder and leader of MQM several times, then how is it that in today’s press conference all these allegations levelled against MQM and Mr Altaf Hussain are coming to light and true ?, were they not aware of these alleged incidents during the meetings with Mr Hussain, similar allegations were raised during an army operation launched in 1992, under the guise to capture high profile criminals, including kidnappers, dacoits, feudal lords who sponsored these criminals, a list of 72 big fish (criminals) was presented in the National Assembly, but instead the military moved all their might against the MQM, like the false allegations that MQM with the help of India was creating Jinnahapur as a separate state from Pakistan, where a false map was also presented to the journalists at that time, later on these allegations were retracted by the same army that no such conspiracy was ever hatched by the MQM.
The CCC said the allegations which are being given by DG ISPR are baseless and have a sense of repeating history when the army gave the same reasons in 1971 before and after the fall of Dhaka, Pakistan army does not have courage to take back control of the Indian Occupied Kashmir when India had annexed it to its nation by revoking the special status provided under article 370 of their constitution.International community is fully aware of the links between Pakistan, Taliban, Al Qaeda, Daiesh and hundreds of armed militants causing havoc worldwide with their religious proxies.
Pakistan was not placed on the FATF list by MQM, it was placed due to the well known fact of supporting terrorism, for example the terrorist attack which took place on the Army Public School in Peshawar on 16th December 2014, which killed hundreds of students, in which teachers were burnt alive was accepted to have been carried out by the TTP leader Ehsan Ullah Ehsan, who was released from prison and provided security by the very same armed forces. Just like the attack carried out by the Pakistan’s religious extremist group Lashkar E Tayyba (LET) in India, more commonly known as the Mumbai attacks masterminded by Hafiz Saeed, which included Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, and other places including hospitals, Nariman House a Jewish community centre, in which many Jewish people were killed and injured.It is also well known and internationally accepted that Pakistan is the epi-centre of terrorism quoted by many international renowned scholars and even confirmed by the United Nations report on terrorism, to the extent that the current Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has admitted in an interview and before international think tank Centre for Foreign Relations in New York that ‘ Pakistan army and the ISI trained Al Qaeda and all these groups to fight in Afghanistan, they were always links because they had trained them, there were more insider attacks within the military, two suicide insider attacks on General Pervez Musharraf from within the army ‘, he also declared the most wanted terrorist of the world Osama Bin Ladin as a Martyr, on the floor of the National Assembly of Pakistan, his location was found to be near the military academy Kakul, not near the headquarters of MQM, Pakistan’s state forces created the Taliban and many other terrorist proxies.
Therefore it is clear that the press conference held today is malicious and is denied in its strongest terms and we will plead our case at every forum possible, including the International Court of Justice, we will also be seeking clarification from DG ISPR as to the evidence used to confirm their press briefing in order to malign the image of MQM and Mr Altaf Hussain.
