The murder of Orangi Sector unit in-charge and former UC Nizam Ikram Siddiqui is an open act of terrorism: Rabita Committee
 Posted on: 10/25/2013
Muttahida Quami Movement has strongly condemned the brutal murder of Orangi Sector’s unit in-charge and former UC Nizam Ikram Siddiqui.
In a statement they said, “Terrorists gunned him down today while he was returning home after offering his Friday prayer. He was married. He has served his area as nizam in the previous District City Government Karachi. Currently, he was the unit in-charge of MQM.”
The Rabita Committee has expressed condemnation over the gruesome murder and termed it an open act of terrorism, which should be condemned as much as possible. They deplored that on the one hand a targeted operation against criminals was going on in the city while on the other hand MQM’s innocent workers were being gunned down. It is deplorable that terrorists responsible for the murders of MQM workers were roaming about freely.
The Rabita Committee said we were exercising restraint on the martyrdoms of our workers for the peace in the city.  They added that they were waiting for government’s action against the killers of their martyred workers.
The Rabita Committee has demanded an action from the President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Governor Isharat-ul Ibad and Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah for the arrest of terrorists responsible for the brutal murder of MQM’s unit in-charge. They demand that the government should take action against the criminals who have destroyed the peace of the city instead of arresting innocent MQM’s workers.
