Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Central Coordination Committee has strongly condemned the judgment of the Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC)in the murder case of Dr Imran Farooq in which without any investigation and proof, it said that the founder of MQM has ordered the murder of Dr. Imran Farooq.
In a statement,the Coordination committee said that the MQM do not accept the decision of the anti-terrorism court and termed the decision as open terrorism under the guise of law.Coordination committee said that this is political decision which is a part of pre-planned conspiracy to malign the image and for character assassination of Mr Altaf Hussain across the world.
MQM Central Coordination Committee said that MQM is a law-abiding and democratic party. MQM strongly condemns this judgment and call sit an unjust decision given for a political purpose. The Coordination Committee said that even conscientious legal experts have termed this decision a stravesty of justice.
