MQM CHIEF ALTAF URGES PEOPLE OF PUNJAB TO STEP FORWARD AND SAVE THE REMAINING PAKISTAN

·         PTM leaders Wazir and Dawar have been denied of their legal right to attend session of the Parliament. On the contrary, PMLN’s leaders in jail are regularly produced with due protocol as MNAs to the parliament

·         I once again warn the military and ISI of Pakistan to refrain from pinning the oppressed nations to wall. The ghoulish military and the ISI would soon see a lockdown on Pakistan, if they won’t stop

LONDON. Aug 4, 2019: Muttahidda Quami Movement’s (MQM) founder and leader Mr Altaf Hussain said that injustices and tyrannies had already wreaked havoc on Pakistan and had dissected half of the country (in 1971) while the remaining part of the country is passing through same circumstances with injustices, atrocities and tyrannies at all time apex and have once again jeopardised the sanctity and unity of the country. Henceforth, now the people of Punjab have to step forward and rescue the remaining Pakistan from getting obliterated from the global canvass. In case, the political elite of Punjab, Punjabi intellectuals, Punjabi Army and Punjabi ISI have to look around and reverse their stances towards and against the oppressed nation in Pakistan, then the entire scenario might get changed upside down and the remaining Pakistan would hardly afford those emerging challenges and threats.

Mr Hussain was addressing live from London to a seminar in Mississauga, Canada over the phone. The seminar was about the “Unity of Pakistan’s Oppressed Nations – Need of the Hour”. Eminent TV show presenter Anis Farooqui, Haleema Sadia, Pakhtoon Council of Canada leader Jehangir Bukhari, Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) leader Prof. Siraj Khan, TAG TV Senior Anchor Tahir Aslam Gora, late Ajmal Khattak’s son and Pashtun rights leader Amel Khattak, Barrister Usman Ali and MQM Convener Dr Nadeem Ehsan also addressed. MQM Central Executive Committee member Shahid Raza conducted the seminar, diligently.

While welcoming the leaders of the oppressed nations in Pakistan including Balouch, Pashtun, Sindhi, Seraiki, Gilgiti and Baltistani, he said that the status of any state is like that of a caring mother and no mother could afford treating her children with sheer discrimination but it is a sad aspect of State of Pakistan that oppressed nations here in this state are victims of state oppression, atrocities, and genocide. As far as the Constitution of Pakistan is concerned, it sadly has no space for the religious minorities, as well.

One could easily analyse the oppressions, discrimination and nepotism by visiting any of Pakistani Mission abroad where only Punjabis are in control of everything. Sadly, contrary to the provisions of the Constitution, Pakistan is now being interpreted as Punjab and the other provinces have been converted into colonies of Punjab. Influential Punjabis could slam Pakistan’s Military, ISI and since they are from Punjabi Nation, they are ignored and even the Military and ISI chooses them to occupy key ruling positions as that of Governors and Prime Ministers. The ongoing situation in Punjab is revolving around Nawaz Sharif, who is in jail and her daughter Maryam Safdar, who is vigorously campaigning for released of Sharif. However, she and other PMLN’s leaders have not yet campaigned for the release of PTM leaders Ali Wazir and Mohsin Dawar despite that both are sitting MNAs, and also Maryam and other PMLN leaders have also ignored a demand for the release of leaders and workers of other oppressed nations as that of Pashtun, Balouch and Mohajir. The entire Punjab province and Punjabi occupiers everywhere in the country are playing as puppets of Pakistan’s ghoulish Military and the ISI, against oppressed nations with regards to atrocities and even their genocide.

It is candid clear that Pakistan could now only survive as one country only if the people of Punjab would step forward, set aside the demonic military of Pakistan and the ISI and stand beside the oppressed nations, he said, adding that Media and courts that are fully controlled and are working on military’s dictation should also be freed for which a decisive campaign is needed in Punjabi by the Punjabis.

Mr Hussain thanked and held in high esteem Mr Gora and Mst. Sa’dia for struggling for the rights of the oppressed nation in Pakistan despite that they both hail from Punjab.

Hussain rebutted that MQM was founded by late military dictator Gen. Muhammad Zia Ul Haque and said that instead he was arrested and awarded 9 months imprisonment and 5 lashes by the Summary Military Court during Haque’s tenure in 1979 when he was just 23.

He wished the oppressed Pashtun nation might find among them a leader like Bacha Khan and one of the most Oppressed Nation, Balouch might also find true leaders in their ranks and files.

Those who are campaigning for their nations separately and joining hands with other oppressed nations deserve due applause and appreciation while those who are simply witnessing atrocities and injustices but doing nothing are in fact puppets of Punjabi establishment, he said, adding that on that the opportunistic and demonic Military of Pakistan had sealed his residence, launched crackdown on party offices, which they demolished and embargoed him and his party.

The MQM leader Hussain said that he never slammed Pakistan of M A Jinnah but had slammed s state that has been butchering its own people.

He asked the Military Junta to act in strict accordance to the constitution of Pakistan rather than forcing the oppressed nations to accept what they present in the garb of the constitution.

He said that his whole family was expelled from Pakistan as punishment for campaigning for the rights of the Mohajirs and other oppressed nations in Pakistan. His brother and nephew were among thousands of innocent Mohajirs who were executed by the Military and its paramilitary force s and the ISI and that he has been named as traitor in Pakistan because the ghoulish military and the ISI wanted so.

Concluding his address, the MQM leader Hussain repeated his point that Pakistan could only survive with equal rights to all oppressed nations besides Punjabis or else the country would once again face a lethal blow of dissections in many parts.
