LONDON. Jan 8, 2019: MQM would commemorate 1st death anniversary of “Shaheed-e Wafa” slain Prof. Dr Hassan Zafar Arif in Pakistan, in London and in every corner of the world on January 13th this current month. Prof. Arif was a senescent designee of the MQM and was a renowned academician, thinker and writer. He remained tuned to the education for over four decades and imparted education, intuition and skills among millions of students.
With regard to commemoration of his 1st death anniversary, here in London, a condolence reference would be organised at the Watling Community Hall situated at 145 Orange Hill Road, Middleses, HA8 OTR, London which would be attracted by dignitaries and notables and workers of the MQM. Eminent civil society representatives would speak on the occasion.
It is pertinent to mention that Prof. Arif was kidnapped and forced to leave the MQM and stop supporting the MQM founder leader Mr. Altaf Husain but he did not and thus the ISI had on Jan 13, 2016 executed him during detention and dumped his body in his car’s rear seat. The car was found from a village called Reedhi Goth.
He was so devoted and passionate for the founder leader of MQM, Mr. Hussain that he preferred to die in custody at the hands of the ISI and hence Mr. Hussain declared him “Shaheed-e Wafa.”
