SUSPENSION OF CNG SUPPLY IN KARACHI FOR INTERIM PERIOD IS AN ACT OF
ABSOLUTE, NAKED INJUSTICE: DR NADEEM EHSAN
The incumbent government of PTI
rather than killing the people gradually should kill them at a time with heavy
bombardment. Unfortunately, there is nobody to pay heed to the peoples’ agony
in Pakistan – Convener of MQM
LONDON. Dec 12, 2018: Muttahidda
Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Convener Dr Nadeem Ehsan has said that the closure of
CNG supply in Karachi is an absolute act of punishing the people of the port
city and it is an open and naked act of injustice. Though Sindh produces a big
portion of gas (upto 70% of country’s total gas production), the supply of CNG
has been suspended for the interim period. This has created an overall
situation of acute gas starvation at homes and in industry and the gas filling
stations have been shut across the province.
Dr Ehsan said that the closure of
CNG supply is tantamount to rendering the millions of people jobless and the
incumbent government of Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi is taking his revenge from the
people of Karachi.
The MQM Convener said that the
incumbent government of PTI has already taken steps that pushed the people of
the country to an absolute state of devastation and now they are focusing on
the port city of Karachi.
He said that, “The incumbent
government of PTI rather than killing the people gradually, should kill them at
a time with heavy bombardment.” “Unfortunately, there is nobody to pay heed to
the peoples’ agony in Pakistan.”
Dr Ehsan said that the rulers have
been snatching from the people their rights in different shapes and forms,
sometimes depriving them of their right to get education and sometimes by
snatching their means of living.
He said that the government and the
establishment are frightened of India and hence they can’t attack India with
their big big missiles so they keep fighting with the people of the country,
instead.
The Convener demanded that the gas
supply should immediately be restored and atrocities and injustices against the
people of Karachi should be stopped.
