ALTAF SLAMS PARAMILITARY RANGERS FOR RESTRICTING MOHAJIR MUSLIMS
FROM THEIR RELIGIOUS RITUAL
LONDON. Dec 9, 2018: Muttahidda
Quami Movement’s (MQM) founder leader Mr. Altaf Hussain has slammed the
paramilitary Rangers and Sindh Police for manhandling men, women and children,
torturing them and arresting them on the occasion of Martyrs Day that is
commemorated on December 9 every year.
A large number of men, women, youth
and children had reached the Mukka Chowk from where they were bound to reach
the Martyrs Monument to pay tribute to their martyrs, which are their sons,
fathers and brothers. They wanted to offer prayers and recite from the Holy
Quran to the benefit of the departed souls, which is a pure religious ritual.
The Movement’s founder leader said
that the paramilitary Rangers and Sindh Police under the command and control of
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has unleashed their bias, hatred and
discrimination against Mohajirs, which is highly condemnable.
Mr. Hussain demanded that those arrested
should immediately be released.
Meanwhile, he praised the MQM
devotees, men, women, youth and children for showing enormous courage against
the tyranny, oppression and bullying tactic of the establishment and its
paramilitary Rangers and Sindh Police and urged upon them to keep that spirit
intact.
Mr. Hussain expressed his complete
solidarity with those MQM devotes who were subjected to vehement torture at the
hands of tyrant and oppressive Paramilitary Rangers and Sindh Police.
