LONDON. Jul 21, 2018: The banned outfits should not be imposed on the people of Pakistan because this would jeopardise the country’s integrity. The army chief General Qamar Jawed Bajwah and ISI Director General, General Naveed Mukhtar should take action for restricting the banned outfits or else these would at a later stage prove extremely harmful to them, as well.
The Muttahidda Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) founder and Leader Mr. Altaf Hussain said this in his live video message from London.
In his message, he covered variety of issues including the ongoing military crackdown on the Mohajir, arrest, punishment and imprisonment of Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Safdar and expulsion of the Mohajir residents of Martin Quarters, Cleaton Quarters, Jehangir Road east and West and boycott of the general elections.
He said that he has never been against Pakistan but always loved his country and wanted to protect it and has always desired to see a system should prevail in the country that would also respect the Mohajirs as equal citizens of Pakistan. The Mohajirs should be given their due rights and equal status of first degree citizens of the country. Giving the Mohajirs their due rights with due respect, the country would grow stronger.
It was a tradition of the people of Punjab to declare anyone as traitor who would dare to point out the wrongdoings of the armed forces of Pakistan but since the army has now unleashed its wrath on them so they are now starting realizing the actual problem.
He said he has since long been informing the people of Pakistan about the constitutional role of the armed forces of the country that they are answerable to the people of the country and that they don’t have any right of ruling over the masses.
He said that the army has always sought explanation from the civilians about their wealth, asset and property and the army has declared Hussain Shaheed Suherwardy, Muhammad Khan Junejo, Benazir Bhutto, Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani and Nawaz Sharif thieves and plunderers of national wealth but sadly the Army Generals never allow anyone to ask them about the wealth they have accumulated.
He said that Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Safdar have been jailed for life and thus everyone is asking if these two are guilty of corruption then what about the others especially Asif Ali Zardari and Imran Niazi. Are these angles? Are the feudal elites of Sindh and Punjab are angels? He questioned.
If they have jailed Sharif and his daughter, they should also jail Zardari and Niazi. Like they have jailed Maryam, they had kidnapped one of our daughters, Raees Fatima for months and hence the agony is same and felt same. The people of Punjab should rise against this pure injustice and this is the question of their collective dignity and honour.
He said that Zardari and his son Bilawal are praising the military on jailing Sharif and hence a question rises naturally that the military was also correct when they jailed Zardari and Benazir.
He said that they claim that he had condemned Pakistan while the fact is that he has never condemned the country but has always condemned the exploitative system of the country. It was under compulsion and stress that he condemned the system because Mohajir youth were kidnapped and extrajudicially executed by the paramilitary Rangers.

The cunning establishment had on commitment asked Saulat Mirza to come to Pakistan and on his return, as he was duped; they first jailed him and then executed him. There are TV anchors that allege the Movement of killing Police officers but they never ask the state as why Police officers who extrajudicially executed thousands of Mohajirs were not taken to task. Similarly, a killer in Police uniform, Rao Anwar had extrajudicially executed Farooq Patni and slain Patni’s pregnant wife was imprisoned in Adyala jail and she gave birth to a baby in Adyala jail. That very Rao Anwar had killed Prof. Dr Hassan Zafar Arif, Naqeebullah Mehsood and 450 Mohajirs in fake encounters but he has been given a VVIP protocol and has in recent days been released on bail. Where the people should got for justice, he asked.
Mr. Husain said that the Mohajir are not usurping any other’s right but they are demanding that their rights that have been usurped should be given back to them with dignity and honour. The Mohajirs’ population in Karachi has crossed three million but the recently conducted census under the supervision of Pakistan army has cut their population more than the half. This was per their planning to deprive the Mohajirs of their political, social and economic mandate and claims of resources.
He said that a draconian black quota system is still imposed in Sindh due to which the educated Mohajirs have been denied of their right for employments and in civil service. At the other, they claim that Mohajirs are part of Sindh and if they are then why they are refused of their right of jobs. The Mohajirs are sandwiched between the military action and discrimination.
He said that he wants to save the country and wants to bring a system that would cater to all the oppressed folks, Punjabis, Balouchis, Sindhis, Pakhtoons, Seraikis, Gilgitis, Baltistanis, Hazarwals and Kashmiris and they have to come along with him to make this dream come true.
He said his speeches he made in 1990 are on record that he had invited the Punjabis to join him in his struggle for the oppressed folks and even today, they are being urged herewith that they should come forward to bring a change in the country.
He said that the military is penalising the innocent Pashtoons in the garb of military operations, Zarb-e Azb and Raddal Fasad. The people of the tribal zones have been forced to leave their homes and lands and businesses while the Taliban have been spared and they are safe in tribal zones as the military operations have not chased or hunted them as yet. The real population of Pakistan’s tribal zones has been internally displaced while Taliban have occupied their lands and homes.

He asked COAS General Qamar Jawed Bajwah and ISI DG General Naveed Mukhtar to avoid imposing the extremists on the people of Pakistan because they are enemies of the country, the humanity and would one day vent their wrath and won’t spare them, too.
He once again urged upon the oppressed Punjabis, Pashtoons and all others to get united under one umbrella and join the struggle for the rights with him.
He asked all the Haq Parast (Honest) people to reject the traitors and boycott the general elections as these are sheer military selections.
