BILOUR’S MARTYRDOM IN SUICIDE ATTACK ROCKED THE ENTIRE COUNTRY: DR EHSAN, RAZA

LONDON. Jul 11, 2018:   The Muttahidda Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Coordination Committee Convener Dr Nadeem Ehsan and Deputy Convener Qasim Ali Raza have lamented on martyrdom of Awami National Party (ANP) leader and elections contestant on PK-78 Barrister Haroon Bilour in a suicide attack on Tuesday evening in Peshawar. The Coordination Committee officers also expressed deep grief on behalf of the Movement.

In their joint condemnation statement, they said that the suicide attack on slain Bilour was a heart-wrenching incident. The Bilour family has since 2013 been on target of the terrorists and in 2013, slain Bilour’s father Bashir Bilour and many innocent ANP workers were martyred in suicide attack.

The Coordination Committee Convener and Deputy Convener said that though the victim Bilour had informed the Police of serious threats for life but still the law enforcing authorities failed to provide him a protective security cover owing to which the suicide attacker easily managed to reach closer and inflict the havoc on Bilour and 20 others.

They said that despite tall claims by the caretaker government in Pakistan regarding fool proof security cover to the elections contestants, their tall claims proved castles of sand and the Bilour’s martyrdom in suicide attack had rocked the country.

Dr Ehsan and Mr. Raza said that the Movement stands with the aggrieved Bilour family at this crucial time. They also expressed complete solidarity with the bereaved Bilour family and the ANP.
