YOUSUF MEMON IS A LIAR; ALTAF REJECTED ISI FOR GETTING BRIBED: COORDINATION COMMITTEE
LONDON. May 11, 2018: MQM Coordination Committee while responding to a statement of Yousuf Memon he gave to FIA and that statement was taken in by the host of Geo TV show “Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Saath” rejected those allegations and said there was nothing real in that statement.
The Committee said that MQM founder leader Mr. Altaf Hussain had visited London in May 1990 for medical and surgical interventions regarding his ailment and he had come back to Pakistan on Aug 23, 1990. He re-visited London in 1991 and was back on Dec 21, 1991. When he was attacked with a purpose to take his life, the then MQM CEC and all leading members of MQM interparty set-up insisted him to leave for London and thus he left for London on Jan 1, 1992 and had prior to that departure he had performed an Umrah in Saudi Arabia.
Henceforth, any statement of Memon in that connection is fake and misleading. The presentation of such statement with reference to Memon and FIA is nothing but a tactful maneuvour to malign the MQM founder leader Mr. Hussain particularly the statement regarding bribing Mr. Hussain by the ISI as a retired Army Brigadier Imtiaz had already rejected all such claims. Further, the Asghar Khan case on that matter of bribing the politicians by the ISI being heard at the Supreme Court of Pakistan under suo motu action, the list of beneficiary leaders and politicians does not have name of Mr. Hussain as beneficiary, which is a candid clear proof that all allegations and statements that Geo TV telecast through Memon are fake and filled with notorious designs.
The Committee would a day later give a detailed press conference on the subject.
