PARAMILITARY RANGERS THREATENING MQM’S LG REPRESENTATIVES FOR FAILING TO QUIT THE PARTY
MQM Coordination Committee Convener Dr Nadeem Ehsan has condemn the paramilitary Rangers and other law enforcement forces for bullying the elected local bodies representatives of MQM. The paramilitary Rangers are misusing their powers and are threatening the representatives to change their loyalty and join the notorious army-backed group called PSP. The   paramilitary Force have warned the representatives of dire consequences failing to positively respond.

The military establishment has created the PSP and is using all state resources to make it a dominant group over MQM.

He said that the paramilitary Rangers have contacted MQM’s LG representatives in person, over telephone and warned them of dire consequences if they would ignore their call for joining the PSP. The LG representatives from Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas, Nawabshah, Tando Allah Yar and other urban parts of the province have received threats from the paramilitary Rangers.

He said that the paramilitary Force is also warning them to stop siding with MQM founder leader Mr. Altaf Hussain and join the PSP or else be prepared for arbitrary arrests, detention and even execution. There are hundreds, who have been threatened thus.

Dr Ehsan said that the paramilitary Rangers have their defined constitutional limits and they are responsible for maintaining the law and order but the force is directly interfering with political process and is openly targeting the MQM. This act of constitutional violation is nothing but an act of plain treason. There is no legal provisioning for the paramilitary force to misuse their powers and execute conversely. They have no legal rights for pressing the people and their elected representatives to change their political parties and join the army-backed notorious groups like the PSP.

He said that despite all demonic exercise, the paramilitary Rangers would not be successful in implementing the nefarious military agenda over the Mohajir Nation and their beloved leader Mr. Hussain. It is need of the hour that all democratic forces should come forward and raise their voices against this sheer act of tyranny of the military establishment.
