Khawaja Izhar-ul Hasan condemned the statement of Minister of State for Water and Power, Abid Sher Ali about the curtailment of power supply to Karachi

Khawaja Izhar-ul Hasan, deputy parliamentary leader of MQM in the Sindh Assembly, has condemned the statement of Minister of State for Water and Power, Abid Sher Ali. He said that curtailment of power supply would push Karachi to darkness. He added that Karachi got 650 mega Watt electricity from the national grid, which is 4% of the electricity production.  
He said that Mr. Abid Sher Ali statement about the curtailment of electricity is highly condemnable and showed his bias towards Karachi. He added Karachi’s residents had equal rights in the electricity produced in the national grid like other citizens of Pakistan. He said that Karachi is the economic hub of Pakistan. He urged to end the discriminatory policies against the residents of Karachi if they wanted to see prosperity and development in Pakistan.
