CANADIAN PARLIAMENT MEMBER TOM KMIEC RAISES PROF. ARIF’S ASSASSINATION IN CANADIAN PARLIAMENT

Calgary. January 31, 2018: Canadian Parliament member Mr. Tom Kmiec has raised the assassination of MQM senior leader Prof. Dr Hassan Zafar Arif in the Canadian parliament. He slammed the Pakistan’s security forces for picking the slain MQM leader, his unlawful detention and execution in custody.
While speaking in the Canadian Parliament, Mr. Kmiec drew the attention of the House towards gross violations of the human rights, said that rights of non-Muslims, Balouch folks and Mohajirs are grossly violated.
He referred to a Balouch Human Rights Organisation’s report on human rights violations, he pointed that 91 Balouchs were executed and 138 were enforced to disappear only in one month of August, 2017. The Christians in Balouchistan were bathed in blood on the advent of the Christmas and 9 innocent Christians lost their lives in a terror attack on Church.
Mr. Kmiec on the genocide of Mohajirs in Pakistan told the Parliament that Mohajirs are victims of state atrocities and are facing genocide. In January 2018, Pakistan’s security forces kidnapped MQM senior leader Prof. Arif and tortured him to death in custody. His only fault was that he was critic of flawed political and economic system and policies of the country and was an active affiliate of MQM.
The Canadian Parliamentarian Mr. Kmiec urged upon the Parliament to condemn the Pakistani authorities for gross violations of human rights of Balouch and Mohajir nations and their genocide by the security forces and play their vibrant role for the prevention of sectarian violence against the non-Muslims and strive for advancing the obligations of Canada.
