Economic Genocide of Mohajirs on orders of Chief Justice of Pakistan at the behest of Pakistani military establishment
Despite the fact that military establishment promoted influx of population from other provinces in Karachi so as to render Mohajir population as minority, the military establishment started implementing their next episode under which Mohajir Nation has come across economic genocide under which Supreme Court on dictation of military establishment passed an order to demolish Mohajirs’ houses on pretext of illegal construction. The SC ignored the reality when passing such draconian order that Mohajirs have lived in those houses since decades and those they lawfully purchased plots of land on which they constructed their houses. Though the fact is that the land that Mohajirs had purchased was not legal as they were absolutely deceived by the government and departments, which patronised illegal occupation of land by different land mafias fro money and remained silent on widespread sale of such occupied land through advertisements.
The local authorities including KDA, paramilitary Rangers, Police and bureaucracy, ministers and politicians were involved in occupation and sale of occupied land and thus the people particularly Mohajir were befooled as they invested in those occupied land.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan when passing an order for demolition of houses on occupied land, ignored but even spared government, bureaucracy, Rangers and Police officials for the entire unlawful exercise, misuse of powers and minting money from occupation and sale of land to ignorant people.
PLANS FOR KEEPING MOHAJIRS UNDER SIEGE BY MILITARY ESTABLISHMENT
There are more than 400 illegal settlements in Karachi, mid city areas, in periphery of the city, which have been created under the aegis of military establishment and its paramilitary security forces, Police and civil administration. As per law, no construction can be made within three miles of the hilly area bt since these are being used as genocidal tool, the military establishment is protecting these occupations on hilly parts of land in Karachi.
MILITARY ESTABLISHMENT – CHIEF PATRON OF LAND GRABBERS
There is a chain of hilly areas in Karachi’s Western and Central districts such as Orangi Town, Baldia Town, Keamari, North Nazimabad, Manghpopir, etc, which have been illegally occupied by people from Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa with the connivance and support of military establishment, paramilitary security forces, Police and civil administration.
The sole purpose of this long occupation of hilly areas was meant to besiege Mohajirs from heights.
There are several entry and exit routes of Karachi which have been occupied by people for other provinces.
POWER HUNGRY PPP – DEADLIEST ENEMY OF MOHAJIRS
Pakistan People’s Party always legalized these illegal settlements so as to enhance its vote ban in Karachi because Mohajirs always rejected PPP.
Mohajirs were driven towards internal migration in government of PPP’s Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto as Mohajirs were forced to leave 20 cities from 24 leaving behind all their property and land which the local Sindhis occupied and no government took any steps for compensations.
Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto imposed Quota System in Sindh which deprived Mohajirs from their rights of share in civil administration, judiciary, education and medical colleges.
Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto was a deadliest enemy of Mohajirs as he planned to impose Sindhi language on Mohajirs but Mohajirs had caused that plot to fail with their unity.
Thousands of apartments of Mohajirs in Karachi’s different areas have been occupied by Sindhis from rural areas and Sindh government plainly refused to get them evacuated and the SC is also silent.
PHYSICAL GENOCIDE OF MOHAJIRS
Fearing unity and rise of Mohajir Nation, military establishment gathered drug traffickers and terrorists, equipped them with assault weapons and patronised genocide of Mohajirs in Qasba-Aligarh areas of Karachi, on Super highway, in Hyderabad in which thousands of Mohajirs were martyred, thousands of Mohajir sisters were gang raped.
During Karachi Lawlessness Case hearing on Suo Moto by SC, SC identified PPP, JI, ANP, ST and MQM having militant wings but the military establishment launched physical genocidal military operation only against Mohajirs. SC ignored that discriminatory action.
MILITARY ESTABLISHMENT – PROTECTOR OF CRIMINALS AND TERRORISTS
On knowing that criminal elements had penetrated ranks and files of MQM, MQM conducted deep scrutiny and expelled all those criminal elements but military establishment gathered them at one place and created PSP. SC ignored this, too.
WHY JUDGES ARE PUPPET TO MILITARY ESTABLISHMENT?
Chief Justice of Sindh High Court had rebuked the paramilitary Rangers for running unlawful businesses in Karachi such as Marriage halls, Filling Stations, etc, Rangers kidnapped his son from Karachi and took it to FATA areas and then staged a drama of rescuing Chief justice’s son. Since then the Judges of lower, higher and apex courts have become puppets of military establishment. They do exactly as military establishment dictates to them.
PAKISTANI MILITARY ESTABLISHMENT – TOP LAND GRABBER IN PAKISTAN, IN KARACHI
Asia’s largest sacrificial animals’ market is established on Super Highway every year. Director General of Military Lands auctions temporary booths to animals’ traders. Military Land mints billions from that auction that is only for a few weeks.
Karachi’s 76% land is already occupied by seven Cantonment Boards of Pakistani military establishment. These Cantonment Boards have deprived Karachiites of their right of access to pure drinking water. These cantonment Boards collect all types of taxes but never add a single penny to the development of the city. Instead, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation and District Municipal Corporations have been forced to lift the litter and domestic garbage from cantonment areas at their own cost.

HISTORIC LAND GRABBING BY PAKISTANI MILITARY ESTABLISHMENT IN KARACHI
· Knowing that corrupt PPP’s Sindh government can easily be set to act per dictation, Pakistani military wrote a letter to Sindh government asking to allocate land for those soldiers’ families killed by terrorists in FATA and other Northern areas of Pakistan. Those killed belonged to Punjab in majority but military sought land for their families in Karachi. Thus, PPP’s Sindh government readily allocated 19640 acres of land on Super Highway in two parts and 11640 acres of land were already allocated in first phase in 2005. 8000 acres of land was further allocated to military in 2012.
· Pakistani military bought that 19640 acres of land at the rate of Rupees 100, 000 per acre while the market value of that land was Rupees ten million per acre. Military used its force against PPP’s corrupt Sindh government, which thinks it could escape accountability by offering bribe to military in form of precious land on cheaper rates.
· It is worth defining that 1 acre = 4840 square yards and 19640 acres = 95057600 square yards.
· Military bought 19640 from Sindh government only against Rupees 1.9 billion/
· Total market value of land is 196 billion
MOHAJIRS ARE DEPRIVED OF WATER
SC has turned a blind eye on shift of water allocation for Karachi, which PPP provincial government unlawfully allocated to DHA City.
PPP government is patronising private water tanker mafia, minting money from Mohajirs from sale of water to the tune of $1.42 million per day, $42.3 million per month, $313 million per year. Private water tankers make 50, 000 trips every day.
In addition, Cantonment Boards have deprived Karachiites of their right of access to pure drinking water.
In addition, Mohajirs are compelled to purchase bottled water worth Rs2.5 billion a month.
EDUCATIONAL GENOCIDE
In Karachi, almost 90% results of class IX and X are fraudulently messed by declaring students as failed. This leads to deprivation of Mohajirs of admissions in different science faculties such as medical and engineering. By this educational genocide, students are facilitated to occupy admissions in Karachi’s academic institutions. Under 40% discriminatory quota system, Mohajirs lose their basic right for education as corrupt bureaucracy and corrupt PPP Sindh government are implementing a nefarious agenda of keeping Mohajirs backward and slaves.
