Broad daylight Assassination of Dr Naushad Sheikh Khan Zai an act of open terror: Coordination Committee
LONDON. Oct 25, 2017: Muttahidda Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Coordination Committee has vehemently condemned the daylight cold blooded assassination of Veterinary Dr Naushad Sheikh Khan Zai in Hyderabad. The slain doctor was first cousin of MQM North London Unit member Azhar Lodhi. He was on his way to his office when the terrorists intercepted his car just a few yards away from his home and showered volley of bullets, which proved fatal and he expired on the spot. The slain was a public servant, as well.
The Coordination Committee while condemning his assassination also slammed paramilitary Rangers and Police for patronizing terrorists and hardened criminals. It said the assassination of Dr Zai was an open act of terror, which itself exposed the law enforcers. The criminals and terrorists are given free hand to operate from anywhere and the law enforcers are only chasing the innocent and law abiding political workers of MQM.
The Coordination Committee demanded the President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain and the Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to take immediate notice of assassination of Dr Zai in broad daylight and order quick investigations on it and use their powers for bringing the assassins to justice box.
It extended sympathy and condolences to the aggrieved family of Dr Zai and prayed for the departed soul.
