MQM MPAs Slams the increasing wave of criminal activities and demand of extortion by terrorists in MirpurKhas

The Haq Parast members of Sindh Assembly MPAs Dr Zafar Kamali, Dewan Chand Chawla and Ponjo Mil Bheel has strongly condemned the demand of extortion through mobile SMS and threats of dire consequences in case of refusal by the criminal elements and terrorists of the banned organization.
They have demanded of taking stern notice of sending extortion slips by the terrorists to the citizens through SMS.
In their joint statement they said that terrorists and criminal elements are demanding heavy extortion in MirpurKhas and adjacent areas from the people belonging to the business community and threatening them of killing them in case of non compliance of their demands which has created tremendous fear and panic among the citizens and they have become quite concerned about the security of their lives.
They said that increasing demand of extortion by the banned terrorists’ organizations through SMS both in Karachi and MirpurKhas is a matter of serious concern and a big question mark on the performance of both the police and administration.
The Haq Parast MPAs have demanded of President Mamnoon, Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, interior federal minister Chaudry Nisar Ali, Governor Ishratul Ibad, Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take serious notice of the demand of extortion by the criminal elements and threats of dire consequences, indiscriminate action against the extortionist mafia and to provide immediate protection of the lives and properties to the citizens of MirpurKhas.
