MQM Founder Leader Altaf Hussain asks SC to answer his questions, verbal petition
Muttahidda Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) founder leader Mr. Altaf Hussain has on Pakistan’s apex court’s decision of disqualifying the Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and further orders issued to authorities concerned for preparing references against his family and him, seeks answers to a few questions from the Supreme Court Judges.
He presented his questions in form of verbal petition seeking immediate action against the guilty.
The questions he lays before the apex court are as follows;
Justice Hamood Ur Rehman Commission report has named of those military generals and officers, who conspired against Pakistan’s unity and paved ways for the creation of Bangladesh. Which authority but SC will initiate action against them?
The paramilitary Rangers have since 2013 kidnapped hundreds of MQM workers and killed many of them in custody. Which authority but the SC will initiate legal action against the Paramilitary Rangers?
Former Chief of Army General (ret.) Rahil Shareef had admitted that MQM worker Aftab Ahmed was killed in custody of the Paramilitary Rangersand had promised of due legal action against those who killed him in custody. How long it would take for the SC to initiate legal action against former Pakistan Rangers Sindh Director General Bilal Akbar, who has now been promoted to Chief of Army Staffs Committee, and former Karachi Corpse Commander Naveed Mukhtar, who has now been promoted to lieutenant General and made ISI Director General?
When would the SC rise to meet its constitutional obligations for protecting the innocent Mohajirs, Balouch folks and tribal people by the Pakistan’s military, and when the Sc would provide justice to the affected families?
When would the SC rise to help recover Mohajir, Balouch, Pashtoon and Sindhi youth, kidnapped by Pakistan’s military establishment and its intelligence agencies and when the families passing through severe agony get the justice?
When would the SC rise to initiate legal action against those in military ranks and law enforcement agencies that have acted above the law and violated the constitution?
When would the SC initiate legal action against those Judges, who held the imposition of Martial Laws, took oath under the PCO?
When would the SC bring ex-Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry for taking oath under PCO twice, extending military dictator General (ret.) Pervez Musharraf’s tenure for three years and acting in absolute violation of the constitution?
When would the SC order the formation of a JIT on Arsalan Iftikhar son of ex-Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, whose case was in court of the later but he closed investigations to favour his son, and sacked former PM Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani? When the SC would initiate accountability of ex-Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and other corrupt Judges?
The SC has disqualified PM Nawaz Sharif and his whole family has been charged for corruption. When the SC would start legal action against other corrupt leaders, who robbed the national exchequer and laundered the money abroad?
When would the SC start taking legal action against those elite of the country, who borrowed huge money from banks and got those debts settled without refunding a single penny?
Smuggling of narcotics is the game of military and security forces officers on which government preferred to remain silent. When the smugglers of narcotics from army ranks would be behind the bars?
Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has unlawfully imposed ban on me (MQM Founder Leader Altaf Hussain) due to which his picture is not allowed to be published in newspapers nor are his speeches allowed to be telecast on televisions. When would the SC order PEMRA to end the ban?
On the basis of an anti-Pakistan slogan, my house, MQM headquarters Nine Zero and Khursheed Begum Secretariat and all MQM offices have been shut by force. MQM workers are on regular basis arrested without any lawful charge. When the SC would come forward for an end to this open injustice? What would you do when your beloved ones are kidnapped, tortured to death and their mutilated bodies are dumped on deserted land? He asked the SC Chief Judge. How long the Sc would take to pay heed on sheer injustices done to MQM and order for lifting of the unconstitutional ban?
Tehreek-e Taliban Pakistan spokesperson Ehsanullah Ehsan has publicly confessed of murdering MQM lawmakers but the establishment has provided him a safe shelter. When would the Sc start legal action?
When would the SC start legal action against those, who provided a safe haven to Alqaeda kingpin Osama Bin Laden in Abbotabad?
ISI and Paramilitary Rangers gathered criminal elements who were expelled from MQM, formed a PSP gang and facilitated them with luxuries worth billions. When would the SC start legal action against ISI and Rangers?
When would the SC take notice of those, who are assisting the establishment for arbitrary arrests of MQM workers on the basis of grudge.
When would the SC start taking action against violations of human rights by Rangers for kidnapping MQM workers and detaining them unlawfully?
The MQM founder leader Mr. Husain while addressing the SC Chief Justice said that these questions should be taken as his verbal petition, form a JIT on it, try me over phone and I would plead my own case without the assistance of any professional lawyer and would satisfy the SC.
He asked the SC Judges to register his verbal petition and start the hearing on it.
He said that the SC should help recover missing MQM workers, provide justice to the families of extrajudicially killed workers. Provide justice to the people of federally administered tribal area (FATA), provide justice to affected families of Sindhi youth who are also being killed extrajudicially.
He told the SC Judges that if they won’t fulfill their constitutional obligations, the would face the wrath of the Creator hereinafter.
MQM founder leader Mr. Hussain said that it very unfortunate that even the SC and the entire judicial system is a subject to Pakistan’s military establishment and the SC disqualifies politicians at the behest of the military establishment, as well, that is why the masses fail to get justice.
