Father of Mohajir Nation Altaf Hussain asks Gen. Bajwah to end atrocities, injustices on Mohajirs
“Action should be taken against ISI and Rangers officers, who are using force against Mohajirs for quitting MQM – Siege of MQM Headquarters in Karachi should be released and handed over to Prof. Dr Hassan Zafar Arif”
Pakistani military chief General Qamar Jawaid Bajwah has recently visited Parachinar where he met with tribal leaders as well as Shiite community representatives to offer his condolences to the terror affected Shiite families. The Pakistani military chief is equally responsible to share same spirit to the Mohajir families in Karachi where they are being crushed by the security forces as thousands have been forced to disappear after security forces kidnapped them from their homes, hundreds of them have been extrajudicially executed and thousands more have been jailed without any lawful charge. The Pakistani military chief is also responsible for speedy justice to the affected Mohajir families and if he would do so, I would urge my people to forgive and forget the atrocities and also will chant the slogan in Pakistan’s favour.
Father of Mohajir Nation and Muttahidda Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) founder leader Mr. Altaf Hussain said this in his fresh audio message he had recorded on July 1, 2017 in London, which was widely circulated worldwide through social media.
He said he would like to appreciate the Pakistani military chief on visiting the terror affected families of Pakistan’s tribal belt, Parachinar where he assured them that he would take stern action against those security personnel who butchered several Shiite men who were on protest against the genocide of Shiite sect Muslims in Parachinar, and also informed them that he has sacked Colonel Malik Omer, who led the guilty of killings of several men company of troopers and whose orders the peaceful protestors were killed.
Father of Mohajir Nation Mr. Hussain urged upon the Pakistani military chief Mr. Bajwah to keep his promises he made to the terror-affected Shiite community of Parachinar and should not be like his predecessor General (retd.) Rahil Sharif who had also made promises for looking into cold blooded murder of MQM worker Aftab Ahmed in rangers unlawful detention. He had also assured he would take the guilty to task but did not fulfill his promises. Instead, he left for Saudi Arabia to lead the Saudi-led military alliance against Shiite.
He said, “Mr. Bajwah should award punishment to Colonel Omer and his company for gunning down innocent Shiite protestors failing which would be tantamount to open deception as is the history with his predecessor Gen. (retd.) Rahil Sharif.”
Father of Mohajir Nation Mr. Hussain asked the Pakistani military chief Mr. Bajwah that he should prove he is a true Muslim and has fear of God in his heart by visiting families of MQM martyrs, who were picked by his forces, forced to disappear and brutally executed unlawfully and extrajudicially only for one continued reason of hatred against Mohajirs. He should also assure them for speedy justice, redressal of their agonies and taking those who did this all to task. He should also visit families of MQM martyrs in Hyderabad and other cities in Sindh province and inquire from them as who from Pakistan’s military ranks are chasing them for changing their loyalty and forcing them to join military-led faction, PSP.
On doing so, I, Altaf Hussain, Father of Mohajir Nation would appeal to the affected families that they should then pardon the offenders and would also say, “Pakistan Zindabad”, (Long Live Pakistan) and would rise in his honour and offer my salutations. I would also endorse him as a true Pakistani Muslim and is a patriot soldier.
Mr. Hussain on solemn affirmation said, “Top ranking military officers such as Brigadiers, Colonels, Majors and captains are constantly visiting houses of eminent Mohajirs, MQM workers and officers of different MQM wings whom they are threatening for life for their refusal to join the military-led PSP faction.”
MQM men are on a regular basis picked from their homes, brought to detention centres where they are expose to vehement torture and are forced to change their loyalty and join PSP. They force them to sign papers which they use as proof that the detainees have opted to join PSP as per their own wish and will and then they fetch them to PSP office and hand them to PSP gang. Those who refuse to join PSP are then forced to choose PIB gang, another military-led faction.
Father of Mohajir Nation Mr. Hussain asked the Pakistani military chief Mr. Bajwah to take action against officers from ISI and paramilitary Rangers for their notorious schemes of crushing MQM Pakistan and forcing MQM men to leave MQM Pakistan and join either PSP or PIB gang.
Mr. Hussain also demanded the Pakistani military chief Mr. Bajwah to release the siege of MQM Pakistan headquarters in Karachi and let Prof. Dr Hassan Zafar Arif to have control over it. He should stop military operation against MQM and Mohajirs immediately.
He said that he has never desired for anything for him but what he wants is equal rights and justice for his Mohajir Nation.
Father of Mohajir Nation Mr. Hussain vowed he would continue to struggle for rights of Mohajir Nation along with his loyal companions till his last breath.
