Father of Mohajir Nation Mr. Altaf Hussain profoundly aggrieved on his Aunt’s death
“Zulekha Begum was daughter of Islamic scholar, Shaikh Al Mashaikh, Pir-e Tareeqat Respected Haji Hafiz Muhammad Rahim Bux (R.A), who was chosen as caliph from Baghdad, Iraq”
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Coordination Committee and founder leader of MQM and father of Mohajir Nation Mr. Altaf Hussain have been aggrieved profoundly on death of Mr. Hussain’s (maternal) Aunt Mrs. Zulekha Begum. She died on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 1350 PST. May Allah rest her soul in peace! Amen.
Late Zulekha Begum was popular in the clan of MQM founder leader and father of Mohajir Nation Mr. Hussain by her title “Chhoti Khala” (Little or Junior Aunt). She has left behind 6 sons and 2 daughters.
She was daughter of a well-known Islamic scholar, Shaikh Al Mashaikh, Pir-e Tareeqat Respected Haji Hafiz Muhammad Rahim Bux (R.A). Late Zulekha Begum was the youngest of her five brothers and four sisters. Five brothers and three sisters had already died. It was most august night of 27th of Ramadan, the Laila Tul Qadr when Mrs. Zulekha took her last breath on Earth. She was a true believer and never missed any prayer or fast in her entire life. She was also a devotee of her father Islamic scholar, Saikh Al Mashaikh, Pir-e Tareeqat (Sufi Saint) Respected Haji Hafiz Muhammad Rahim Bux (R.A).
Her father Islamic scholar, Saikh Al Mashaikh, Pir-e Tareeqat Respected Haji Hafiz Muhammad Rahim Bux (R.A) was a famous (Pir) saint of his time and was chosen as Caliph from Baghdad, Iraq. He travelled on foot to Mecca for performing the holy pilgrimage, the Hajj at Mecca. He was a regular Pesh imam (prayer performer) of a mosque and also led Tarveeha as Imam during Ramadan. There are followers of him across the world.
Mr. Hussain who has been in profound shock on death of her Aunt has expressed his condolences to each member of the family especially the children of late Zulekha Begum.
He has prayed for the departed soul and sought Allah’s blessings for the aggrieved family to bear this irreparable loss with patience.
