Appeals to the people of Pakistan and members of civil society to attend and show Solidary with Christian Community
MQM has announced to observe three-days of mourning on Monday throughout Pakistan for the victims of attack on church at Kohati Road, Peshawar that claimed the lives of dozens of innocent Christian worshippers and injured many. In all MQM offices throughout the country special remembrance sessions will be held along with candlelit vigil to express condolences.
These sessions will be held at the MQM Zonal Offices in Karachi, all districts of Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. The MQM Coordination Committee has appealed to the people of Pakistan from all walks of life and the members of civil society to attend the congregations in large number and demonstrate their solidarity with the Christian community.
