MQM's Convener Nadeem Nusrat strongly denied the allegations level by Khalid Shamim
Convenor of the MQM Mr
Nadeem Nusrat has
categorically denied false and fabricated allegations levelled against Mr Altaf Hussain, his cousin
Iftikhar Hussain and others in a statement purported to be from Khalid Shamim,
a co-accused in the murder of MQM Convenor Dr Imran Farooq.
In a statement, Nadeem Nusrat said that on 9th November 2016 Pakistani
media channels have once again started a malicious campaign to malign the image
of the founder and leader of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain.
Mr Nusrat condemned these allegations and added that it is yet another
conspiracy from the establishment of Pakistan against MQM. He said that it is a
common knowledge that Khalid Shamim was held in illegal custody of the state
agencies for over 5 years, he was never produced before any court of law to be
charged in the same matter.
The act of maligning MQM and its leader till date continues. It is the
same design the establishment of
Pakistan has been trying to achieve for over two decades, to silence the voice
of Mr Altaf Hussain, who has been very vocal against the outdated system of
governance in Pakistan.
Nadeem Nusrat strongly denies any involvement in this heinous act of
murder, and demanded that the real culprits involved in this ghastly act be
brought before the law.
End.
