Extrajudicial killing unconstitutional says PML-N delegation

Extrajudicial killing unconstitutional says PML-N delegation
 Posted on: 8/20/2016
A delegation of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) PML-N led by Senator Nehal Hashmi and Ismail Raho visited MQM’s hunger strike camp at Karachi Press Club to show solidarity with the workers and leaderships demonstrating against the Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs), especially the Rangers violating the constitution and human rights.

The delegation showed sympathies and solidarity for the demonstrators and Ismail Raho said that the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif sent them to ask their issues and got back to the PM and the federal government. He said that Pakistan had been facing various issues and they could be resolved only by negotiations and dialogues.

He said that the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif promised to maintain peace and writ of the government in Karachi and the ongoing operation was the wish of all political parties but the extra-judicial killings were unacceptable and clear violation of constitution. He said that the protest was a right of the people to portray their grievances but there were the institutions to resolve issues through dialogues and discussions.

The PML-N delegation met with MQM’s Senior Deputy Conveners Dr Farooq Sattar and Amir Khan and listened to their all concerns and grievances in details and ensured them to resolve them. Senator Nehal Hashmi said that the issue would soon be resolved and government would take action.
