MQM condemns govt. on KMC grant cut

The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement strongly condemned Sindh government over 50 percent reduction of monthly grant to the Karachi Municipality for paying salaries and pensions of the employees and termed it Karachi enmity or biasedness of Sindhi speaking leadership.
 
In a statement, the Coordination Committee said that the provincial government monthly paying 500 million rupees to the Municipality for paying salaries and pensions of the employees. It said that the government had already cut down the tax levied of KMC 140mn out of 392mn.
 
The Coordination Committee said that the PPP’s biased government badly hurt the performance of city Municipal Corporation that caused ruining all over the places. It said that the entire city became the piles of garbage while the streets and avenues were depicting an archeological site scene.
 
The Committee demanded the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to take notice against the prejudicial cut of KMC grant in connection to political victimization. It said that the Sindh government biasedly ruining the entire city institutions and their only interest to loot the resources of the city.
